NOTE: After writing this blog my daughter received child abuse (actually worse but I won't write that here) gifs , all 16 frames - essentially a mini video clip. My daughter does not have a phone but she had my work phone for Whatsapp, so I found the "stickers" so even with all of the settings I share below there are still other ways. 

Whatsapp stickers can only be viewed by going into your child's phone, creating a new message on whatsapp and then clicking the sticker button in the chat window. If the child has saved the sticker they will appear here.

But sadly in most cases they will be sent as disappearing messages and the second the child views them they vanish.
